a brief history

I'm Diane! I'm a ripe, old 23 years of age and in the early stages of what seems to be adult life. I graduated in 2017 from Michigan State University with a degree in English, creative writing and have been looking to put it to good use since. Most of my writing career is tied to The Black Sheep, a college-humor media and marketing company. I wrote for my university's branch during the latter half of my 4-year stint at MSU and worked as a national editor in their corporate offices post-grad. From writer to editor to video production manager, I've done nothing but grow right along with the company. A lot of the published work in this portfolio is due to, and in the voice of, The Black Sheep; I'm grateful for all the opportunities I've had in their care. Now, I'm looking to move forward and work on purposeful projects using the skills I've learned thus far and challenging myself to learn more. Diane's the name, career growth's the game.
